La Mia Famiglia
I used mixed media collage to explore my Italian heritage and what it means to reinvent yourself in a new place, whether a new country or a new direction in life. It is meant as a tribute to my grandfather, who came to this country without even knowing the language. I wanted his eyes to see through the art I am creating and the direction I am heading.
(Music: “Fly Me To The Moon (In Other Words)” by Bart Howard, sung by Rosemary Clooney)
